NDS Design
For the last 10 years NDS has developed unparalleled expertise in the design of pay-TV applications. The NDS design team has completed projects for leading platforms around the world including Premiere in Germany, Astro in Malaysia, CANALSAT in France and DirecTV in the US. The team has created original GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces), Remote Control and STB form factors, and STB packaging and brand logos.
Interactive applications and games
Interactive services need the best middleware to run properly. MediaHighway delivers integrated solutions proven on the world’s most advanced platforms. Take your pick: Poker, backgammon or multi-player games (where legal, of course).
In addition to games, NDS has developed tools to manage interactive applications such as interactive ad campaigns for some of the leaders in the iTV market: BSkyB in the UK, CANALSAT in France, and YES in Israel.
NDS also offers advanced games and games engines based on unique technologies that leverage DVRs to create games that have advanced video quality. NDS has created complete games channels with a variety of products.
NDS EPGs
An effective EPG can give you a lead over your competition. Optimized for MediaHighway, NDS EPGs have a fast response time and support sophisticated navigation tools as well as frequent data changes to promote new services. In order to create a successful EPG, NDS offers a variety of solutions that let your viewers find and launch your services easily.
The MediaHighway Development Kit (MHDK) facilitates development of HTML and Java applications by using standard authoring tools. It simplifies development by simulating, debugging and pre-integrating the completed application on a PC or STB before deployment. This reduces development time to a matter of days—which increases cost-effectiveness. Request the MHDK here.
