NDS Appoints Alan Dishington as Director of Sales NDS India

NEW DELHI, INDIA – February 11, 2009 - NDS,
the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV,
today announced the appointment of Alan Dishington to the position
of Director of Sales for NDS India. Dishington will be based
in New Delhi, reporting to Sue Taylor, Senior Vice President
and General Manager of NDS Asia Pacific.
In his new position, Dishington will oversee all Indian business
development, sales and pre-sales activities. He will be responsible
for identifying and developing new business opportunities for
NDS end-to-end pay-TV solutions in India in cable, satellite
(DTH) and IPTV.
Prior to joining NDS in India, in 2004, Dishington was appointed
to the role of NDS Director of Marketing, EMEA, based in London,
where he successfully spearheaded NDS’ business development
activities in the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
Earlier in his career, he held key operational roles at Sky
Italia and BSkyB. Cumulatively, he has more than 16 years experience
in pay-TV.

many years of experience, Alan is ideally suited to develop
