NDS Professional Services uses a proven 3-stage program to engage, understand and deliver the best possible solution. Stage 1: Discovery
Discovery is by far the most important phase of any program. While some companies initially question the commitment required for this phase, they soon agree that it is extremely worthwhile. In fact, for every week invested in discovery, we estimate a month is saved on execution.
Together with a small client team, NDS conducts an extensive discovery process. When discovery has been completed, NDS and, where relevant, global or third party experts, create a detailed scope and plan for the project.
Stage 2: Program Ramp Up
Once the customer and NDS agree upon the project scope, time scales and plan, we determine the size of the project team. This may include third-party experts in order to help deliver the best possible solution.
Together, we set objectives and performance criteria that measure the success of the project.
Stage 3: On-going Engagement
Once the initial project has been approved, NDS Professional Services will continue to propose new ways to help our customers succeed. These may include:
- Long term commitment based on the current partnership. Certain projects will entail multi-stage activities.
- Redefining the NDS role relative to the customer, technology and any third parties. A good example of this occurs when a customer requests that NDS manage or integrate a larger scale project with a number of third party vendors.
NDS will also provide a fixed team to work with the customer, supplemented by relevant expert resources as required by the individual project, enabling the acquired knowledge and experience curve to be fully optimized.
