The NDS Unified Gateway™ is an end-to-end system that takes a unified approach to distributing video, data and voice services in and around the home from a single point, fulfilling the vision of a fully connected home. The NDS Unified Gateway integrates residential gateway, home networking and whole home digital video recorder (DVR) technology into one device.
The demonstration will feature remote user interface technology based on HTML5 with the NDS Snowflake™ User Interface shown across an IP set-top box, PC, iPad and Android devices.
Speaking at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo:
Steve Tranter, Vice President of Interactive and Broadband, NDS will present a paper on the subject of "Putting the Best of the Guide into the Web" as part of the Multi-Screen session on Monday, November 14th at 14:45 and repeated Thursday, November 17th at 16:00.
The presentation will discuss using a cloud-based service aggregation approach to combining both operator and online content, services and metadata to create a value added and scalable multiplatform offering for MSOs.
