- Designed specifically for the Chinese and Indian markets, VideoGuard Express™ is an entry level conditional access solution designed for smaller operators looking to introduce digital pay-TV services quickly and at an attractive price.
- MediaHighway® set-top box software includes a font rendering engine. This reduces the burden on STB memory and leads to lower costs—particularly important for markets such as China or Korea, where complex character sets are used.
- NDS EPGs support multiple languages including English, Bahassa, Korean, simplified and traditional Chinese.
- The Multiple TV Home feature enables subscribers to have several TVs in the home receiving cable services. This solution designates a master STB in the home that periodically authorizes secondary STBs to continue providing TV services. This ensures that STBs are not re-distributed outside the home and protects the operator's business
